2008 Park & Rec Survey Summary
We recently conducted a survey of the Township to determine how our facilities and programs are serving
the Township; results can be seen in the attached PowerPoint Show (click on the above link). Thanks to everyone for
participating.
There will be summer concerts offered again this year at the park:
July 12: Bob Lanza Blues Band
July 26: String Fever, a Bluegrass Band
August 16: Blue Sugar, soft rock

Day, and Summer Concerts in the Park
The
Park is located at 242 Little York-Mount Pleasant Road and consists of 72 acres; approximately half is open space.
We have two baseball/softball diamonds, four full-sized soccer/lacrosse fields, a wonderful
playground called "Kidtopia", and walking trails. We have an equestrian
facility with an indoor and outdoor riding arena, as well as a dressage ring. We recently had a 9-hole
disc golf course donated. Future plans include basketball courts, a pavilion, and a third baseball diamond.
